In preparation for ESPN’s telecast of Monday Night Football in San Diego, Director of Photography Bob Sloan leads a Sloan productions high definition crew and shoots the helmets of the opposing teams. San Diego hosted the Denver Broncos during ESPN, ABC, and Disney’s 40th year production of the most popular football telecast of each football season. By hiring local qualified production crews in San Diego, ESPN is able to control costs as opposed to traveling a crew across the country. This shot was used in the opening of the Monday Night Countdown show that precedes the actual telecast. Sloan Productions provides professional production crews in San Diego to networks, independent producers, and corporations.
Website Video Production
One of the routine services we accomplish for our clients is producing video clips for their websites. In this photo, Kimber Mahon, delivers a client’s message. Sloan Productions has a great deal of experience in producing web video content. “We have been producing video way before the internet as we know it ever existed”, according to Bob Sloan, owner and president.
Kimber is one of my favorite on-camera talent professionals to work with. She is extremely professional, very, very experienced, looks great, and works fast. I highly recommend her to any producer or production company.

Angels and Yankees Player Intros
Last week we were in Anaheim, CA to shoot player introductions of the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim for Russell Gabay, Vice President & Executive Producer of Broadcast Operations for Major League Baseball, New York. Capturing against the “Green Screen”, Director of Photography Bob Sloan leads a Sloan Productions crew. San Diego is our home base but we also maintain a Los Angeles presence. In this photo, Yankees player Alex Rodriguez recites his name and position. These clips will be used by Major League Baseball for their international television feed during the playoffs that culminate with the 2009 World Series. Along with the player introductions, Bob also captured several Time Lapse sequences for the same use. Sloan Productions provides professional production crews in San Diego and Los Angeles, to networks, independent producers, and corporations. This project was produced by MLB producer Daryl Martins.
