During a shoot for McGraw Hill Publishing about the career of an Aquarist, we utilized reflector boards, (square panels left and right in photo), to reflect natural sunlight and add rim lighting to the subject and help separate her from the background. Reflector boards can be very valuable and versatile especially in a location away from power. They are also less costly to a client than daylight balanced lights.
Working With Animals
When the script calls for animals it’s not as simple as just bringing your dog along that day. In this scene, animal handler Nancy Kobert cues her trained dog to behave as required in the script. Specialized services like animal handling helps keep productions on schedule and within budget.
Greenscreen Production
Chromakey or “Green Screen” photography allows placing our subjects into backgrounds that would be too difficult or costly to accomplish. In this production of an awards video for Pfizer La Jolla, we placed the scientists in the roles of Apollo 13″.
