Jeff Landie
Vice President/Production Manager
Experienced in virtually all types of broadcast and corporate production, Jeff shares the passion for the industry. As our production manager, Jeff is known for his attention to detail and follow though that is greatly appreciated by our clients. Jeff is also a Director of Photography, cameraman, producer, and editor. Jeff has been on staff since 1992 and has been awarded one national Emmy award and ten Tellys.
Bob Shroder
President, Director of Post Production
Bob began his career in television production in 1984, producing, directing and editing commercials, documentaries, corporate videos and news stories. He’s worked with clients at Super Bowls, the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona and the numerous Americas Cup races in San Diego. Bob’s editing and producing skills have earned him Emmy awards, Telly awards amongst others, plus the lasting appreciation of a long list of clients. Bob is a co-founder of HVS, later to become HVS-Sloan.
Bob Sloan
Vice President, Producer, Director, DP
An experienced Director of Photography, Bob has been behind the camera for over 35 years, shooting projects for Nature, National Geographic Explorer, Discovery Channel Networks, ABC Sports/ESPN, Mutual of Omaha, and many others. Also an accomplished producer, director and editor, Bob’s skills are of extreme value to corporate clients for his ability to distill and tell stories in a compelling and stylistic manner while creating high returns on their video investment, (ROI). Bob has been awarded three national Emmy awards and a shelf-full of Telly awards.
Marty Zimmerman
Vice President, Aerial and Drone Production
Marty started his career in 1979 at KPBS television, contributing to many award-winning film projects. He then co-founded HVS with Bob Shroder, working for a large variety of national and international clients. Marty built and operated San Diego’s first gyro-stabilized HD aerial camera system and shot the award Winning “San Diego Above All”, the Baja 1000, and for numerous corporate and broadcast aerial productions. He has been building and piloting remotely controlled planes and helicopters since childhood and head’s HVS-Sloans drone department. Marty holds an FAA “Type 107”* license for drone operation and is also a licensed pilot.
